They crafted 6 character perspectives puzzle into one chaotic masterpiece. This ensemble storytelling is next level. Keep you guessing till the very end.

In Indonesia, we're exhausted by the same old witchcraft horror trope. But Weapon shows it's never just about the idea, but how you build the storm.

A Normal Woman

Kesuksesan The Substance membuka jalan bagi film-film bertema standar kecantikan dan luka yang tersembunyi di baliknya. Kini Indonesia turut hadir dengan versinya lewat A Normal Woman yang dibalut dengan Kesempurnaan keluarga Crazy Rich.

Secara konsep, ini masih menarik. Akting para pemainnya bisa dibilang top-notch. Tapi sayangnya, dari segi eksekusi, cerita, dan pembangunan karakter, semuanya terasa over dan melodramatis. Belum lagi dunia yg dibangun terasa too good to be true.

Alhasil, film ini lebih terasa seperti sinetron versi premium. Glossy dan niat, tapi tetap terlalu soap opera.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps

For those of us who’ve seen the many versions over the years, this 2025 reboot of superhero trend without diving deep into origin stories, it works just fine.

The retro 60s vibe is beautifully captured. The character approach is bolder too, especially with Johnny Storm, who’s a clear departure from Chris Evans womanizer version not entirely convincing for me. Overall, this Fantastic Four is a major upgrade from its predecessors. Pedro Pascal once again proves himself as "The Ultimate Daddy of the Screen".

The sub title "First Step" feels fitting. It marks a promising wake up for the franchise, especially following the Thunderbolts breakthrough. That said, there are a few notes: Galactus felt somewhat mixed up with The Watcher for me, the third act wrapped up too easy and quickly, and the second Thunderbolts-related post-credit scene still leaves us hanging with an unanswered cliffhanger.

karena seperti 2 mata uang berbeda yg dipaksain banget. ngerti sih idenya mungkin pengen bikin mindblowing tapi eksekusinya falls apart, sorry! konfliknya juga kebanyakan dan tumpang tindih.
