A moving, inspiring and suspenseful movie of a mother and son's journey from Kyrgyzstan to Mecca. It depicts love, sacrifice and devotion rooted in religious values. The journey made on foot is faced with all kinds of obstacles that are faced with the strength of faith. The strong bond between the two main characters is the strength of the story.

You Are the Apple of My Eye

Kisah cinta dari dua orang berbeda kepribadian yang terasa manis tapi juga pahit. Mengingatkan kembali akan arti dari mimpi. Mimpi yang senantiasa akan terus terjaga dengan rasa yang pernah ada. Filmnya terasa ringan dan begitu menghibur. Kisah persahabatan di antara karakternya juga penuh dengan tawa dan kehangatan. Lagu-lagunya juga bagus dan muncul di waktu yang pas. Visualnya pun memberikan nuansa kehangatan dan keceriaan. Beberapa transisinya juga mulus dan cakep.

Untuk konflik yang dihadirkan dan penyelesaiannya masih terasa kurang mendalam. Pun dengan emosi yang disampaikan. Bagian pertengahan menuju akhir terasa terburu-buru, rasanya pengen masih melihat bagaimana karakternya bisa berproses dan tentu dengan kisah cinta antara Sun-ah dan Jin-woo. Dengan begitu feelnya akan terasa makin dapet ketika di akhir. Namun demikian, secara keseluruhan filmnya enjoy buat ditonton.
