I don't usually go out of my way to see a movie about a bunch of black dudes in prison. But I'm so glad I did. That kind of prejudice is exactly what the movie is trying to tackle. That even though they're prisoners, they are still human that has innate needs and passion just like the rest of us.

Through theater, the prisoners get to learn and live together as a troupe. Having something common to thrive in, and goals to achieve. Letting themselves be vulnerable and grow at the same time.

It offers beautiful story and comradery. One that needs to be seen at least once in your lifetime.
