The "Bird" movie is SO SLOW! So slow that some walked out after one hour. Sadly, those who walked out will miss all the beautiful shots and warm story that the movie tries to convey at the final act.

It's a movie about growing up in an uncertainty. Living changes in an ever-changing environment. A lot of confusion jumble into one tiny body.

But through all these chaos the protagonist find herself with the help of a certain stranger. He who supported her through all the confusion, changes and everything in between.

A true friendship that will stand the test of time. Even if they're not always together and mostly apart.

I don't usually go out of my way to see a movie about a bunch of black dudes in prison. But I'm so glad I did. That kind of prejudice is exactly what the movie is trying to tackle. That even though they're prisoners, they are still human that has innate needs and passion just like the rest of us.

Through theater, the prisoners get to learn and live together as a troupe. Having something common to thrive in, and goals to achieve. Letting themselves be vulnerable and grow at the same time.

It offers beautiful story and comradery. One that needs to be seen at least once in your lifetime.

Heard a lot of good things about "The Substance" well before it screened here during JWC, tried not to watch any trailer in case of spoilers, and it paid off very handsomely!

Walking in blind to a packed theatre with high anticipation, I was pleasantly surprised with how crazy everything was. In a good way.

The storyline, the acting, the movie's decision to shift from a carefully crafted shots to an all hell breaks loose at the last act was really incredible.

There's not much I can say about this amazing movie, but to encourage anyone to GO and WATCH this masterpiece when and where you can.

It really is best if you go in blind and enjoy everything with a fresh pair of eyes!

Sejak pertama kali melihat cuplikan film "Adult Best Friends", saya langsung hooked! Selain penampilan Zachary Quinton yang captivating as always, alur dialognya juga sangat witty Dan close to home.

Saat akhirnya bisa menonton keseluruhan film, puas rasanya menikmati adegan demi adegan yang disajikan. Dinamika persahabatan Dua orang dewasa yang memiliki interests berbeda namun masih tetap saling menyayangi satu sama lain, membuat "Adult Best Friends" sebuah tontonan yang sangat mengasyikan!

Apalagi waktu itu saya juga menontonnnya dengan seorang Sahabat yang seumuran. Benar-benar sebuah pengalaman menonton yang sungguh menyenangkan.

Hearing the quotes sprinkled through out the movie made me feel like the sourced novel must've been really sexy and thrilling. Sadly, both of those are not present in the movie. Jenna Ortega's performance was brilliant, though.

It may not have the beauty, nor the heart like The Covenant. But Land of Bad still manage to provide a decent entertainment. Russel Crowe really steals the show from where he's sitting. Away from the bits and blows of the battlefield.
