This is literally a Hollywood version of "Budi Pekerti" in surrealist theme produced by Ari Aster. Absurd at the beginning, and it's getting more and more absurd until the ending. If you happened to watch "Budi Pekerti", Paul Matthews (played by our legendary meme king Nicolas Cage) has the same character arc like Bu Prani. First, both of which get viral and get cancelled for something they are not intended to. Second, the whole family is messed up and impacted by the "events". Third, they both become public enemies when they showed up in public. Fourth, they were forced by the institution to create a public apology video and send it to internet. Fifth, they both are still in denial phase that they are not guilty and they believe they do something what it's right for them (which actually isn't by public views). I need crossover between those films (and of course between Paul and Bu Prani)!
