What begins as a soldier’s grief-driven quest in the shadow of his fallen brother quickly shifts into a gritty, explosion-heavy alien invasion vehicle for Alan Ritchson, very much a one-man show. Thrilling in its action and sudden gore, though slightly weighed down by a redemption device character who survives mostly to burden the squad.
