Papa Zola, seorang ayah pekerja keras, berjuang menabung demi liburan keluarga yang layak. Pertemuan tak terduga dengan teman lama membangkitkan kembali masa lalu mereka di organisasi rahasia P.A.P.A., yang terlupakan oleh Papa dan Mama Zila. Ketika Pipi Zola diculik alien saat berkemah, Papa Zola dan Mama Zila harus memulihkan ingatan dan kemampuan P.A.P.A. mereka untuk menyelamatkan putri mereka dan melindungi dunia dari ancaman alien.
I went in just tagging along with my kid. Zero expectations, totally clueless about the characters (my kids knew them, of course). And yet, surprise: this actually works.
The visuals are solid, but what really lands is the heart of the story. A father doing his best, within his limits, to give his child a happy holiday; simple, honest, and very relatable. Then comes the unexpected turn: the film crashes that emotional journey into a wild, arcade-game-like fantasy world. Creative, playful, and executed with confidence. Bravo!!
The result? Not just a win for kids. The spontaneous applause at the end (mostly from children) says it all. This is family entertainment that hits, without trying too hard to be “grown-up.”
Came in as a chaperone, walked out as a satisfied audience member.
