Going out from the theater I felt that Abigail is similar with the movie I watched years ago starring Samara Weaving as a bride, which I forgot the title. It’s Ready or Not. Turns out, Abigail is from the same director.
Using the same formula you’ve seen before, but seeing a ballerina vampire ripping human apart, with lots of scenes covered with blood is still a solid entertainment. Also love the jokes on how-to-kill-vampire thing, looks like a love letter for vampire movies.
