Battle Royale and The Hunger Games' dystopian tyranny on the walk track, though actually came way earlier from Stephen King, #TheLongWalk lived its engrossing thrills not just from Lawrence's signature on similar themes, but the standout acts of the young ensemble; Cooper Hoffman, Ben Wang and mostly David Jonsson - towards the boldly devastating climax that screams loud about oppression and resistance.
