Alright, John Wick fans, listen up! Ballerina is a definite must-watch. This spin-off dives into the backstory of the Ruska Roma ballerina we briefly met in John Wick 3, and it absolutely delivers on the stunning visuals and intense John Wick-style close-quarters combat you've come to love. The story's pretty straightforward and easy to follow, even if the ending doesn't leave you on the edge of your seat quite like the main John Wick films. And hey, even though John Wick's role here is more of a cameo, his presence is still impactful – proof that his name still carries a lot of weight.

Tech-wise, Ballerina truly shines. The cinematography and signature dark, neon-infused color palette of the John Wick universe remain a major draw, pulling you deep into its gritty world. The soundtrack and sound effects are equally impressive, creating a rich audio experience that amplifies the tension in every fight scene. While some of the CGI might feel a tad less refined compared to John Wick 4, the overall visual and audio quality is top-notch, especially with that unforgettable "Fire vs. Water" sequence.

This film stands out for its innovative use of weaponry and slickly choreographed action sequences, all supported by a compelling arc for the main character, Eve. Sure, the main villain isn't as menacing as they could be, and the chemistry among some cast members feels a bit standard. But still, Ballerina is a solid, entertaining ride for action movie buffs and anyone who can't get enough of the John Wick universe.
