Haven't watched the original Danish film, went in solely for McAvoy+Davis, both of whom carried this remake imho
Daddy James was a MAJOR 🚩 & unsettling throughout, whatta stellar performance! 🙌🏼
As for Davis, despite Louise turned out to be a flawed character, she's a character you're rooting for, especially since those who know the premise of this film know that the husband was very annoying & undependable!
Started out as a slow burn, but once the 3rd act kicked in, oh my, the tension just kept rising til the cathartic ending..

I'm so so glad that they changed the ending as the original one was Eden Lake kinda depressing 💀
