Even though I already knew the story and have had the song on repeat for ages, damn No Good Deed performed by Cynthia absolutely pierced my heart.
Ariana deserves an Oscar for returning to the big screen in a major role. She delivered such an incredible range of emotions from that very first intro in Part 1 where her facial expression in no one mourns the wicked till end and she nailed it.
And the voices from these two divas? Pure heaven.
That said, the two new songs are a bit meh overall, but they do have some really catchy parts maybe need to listen them again and again but no good deed is a MUST!!.
At its core, the story is about friendship and love, focusing on what it truly means to be wicked or good.
“Let me be wicked so you can be good.”
